Andrew L. Urich is an interesting and enthusiastic communicator who helps people to perfect their influence, negotiation and thinking skills. He is Puterbaugh Professor of Ethics & Legal Studies in Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University and has served in this capacity since 1986. He also serves as a member of the Executive MBA faculty of Zayed University in Abu Dhabi and Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Prior to joining the faculty at OSU, Professor Urich received a law degree from Case Western Reserve University, completed post doctoral studies at the London Institute of Comparative Law, and practiced law with a major corporate law firm in Ohio.

Professor Urich is a lecturer, researcher, and consultant in the areas of influence, negotiation, professional image, ethics and critical thinking. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Greiner Outstanding Teacher Award, the University Extension Faculty Excellence Award, the Regents Distinguished Teaching Award and the UCEA Excellence in Adult Education Award. While away from the office, Dr. Urich enjoys primitive travel to remote regions of the world. His adventures have led him to almost 50 countries, and he has climbed mountains in South America, Central America, Asia, and Africa’s Kilimanjaro.
Andrew Urich relies on both practical and academic experience. He has worked with many regional and national business organizations including OGE Energy, ConocoPhillips, Chesapeake Energy, Cox Cablevision, Halliburton, Tyson Foods, Seagate Technologies, Ernst & Young, and the United States Air Force. Drawing upon his negotiation experience as an attorney, an appointment in Kyoto, Japan, and his work at Oklahoma State University, Dr. Urich can help your organization achieve more success.
